Outbound Click Tracking: Every "Check Availability" button on the site adds UTM parameters and a unique referral ID to the Trident Charters link (e.g., ?utm_source=exotic-islands&ref=EXR-ABC123). Each click is logged here with the boat name, timestamp, and referral ID.
Inquiry Form Capture: When a visitor fills out the charter inquiry form on your site, their contact details, boat preference, and charter type are captured here. This creates a paper trail showing they came through Exotic Islands.
Status Management: Use the "Update" dropdown to change any referral's status from "Clicked" to "Inquiry" to "Booked" as the customer progresses. This helps you track which referrals converted to actual bookings.
Export & Share: Click "Export CSV" to download the full referral log as a spreadsheet. Share this with Trident Charters as documentation for your referral commission. Each row includes the unique referral ID, customer details, and timestamps.
Note: This tracking data is stored in your browser's local storage. For a production deployment, you'd want to connect this to a server-side database (we can add that as the business grows). For now, make sure to export your CSV regularly as a backup.
